Terrorist Attack on Maui!
April 18, 2008
Zoom Zoom Zoom! Ok, it’s not a Mazda…
April 18, 2008
I just liked this picture. It is taken from the “really really old” Lahaina Pali road. (The super twisty broken one that has the chain fence hanging from it (for those of you that live here.)
This is one hell of a hike, it starts after the “tunnel” and takes you all the way up to the windmills. Its amazing!
Kihei Regency Apartments
April 9, 2008
Kihei Regency is a low income apartment complex in the middle of Kihei, Maui, Hawaii. They can’t seem to hold onto a solid staff as they seem to have someone new in the office every few months. The apartments are small but they are very convenient to everything in Kihei.
They do have a nice pool, but the chlorine levels are usually way too high. Maintenance that is done is “just enough.”
Good luck finding parking. There are no guest spots at the Kihei Regency.
The Maui Marathon
April 3, 2008
Here is a picture taken from Front Street, Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii of the “Maui Marathon 2007.” I don’t know how these people do it!
Maui Eel
April 2, 2008
Found this eel just off of Polo Beach. This guy was pretty quick to get away.

Check out the new Maui sunsets album. If you have any of your own that you would like to submit, email me!
Kihei Villa
March 26, 2008
Kihei Villa is right across from Cove Park on South Kihei Road in Maui, Hawaii. The location is amazing and is convenient to everything! This is an old complex though and it shows on the exterior.
Here is a shot of the rooms from South Kihie Road.
Lahaina Pali Dive
March 21, 2008
I was out diving and I snapped this shot of the West Maui Mountains. The water started getting a little choppy which killed the dives visibility unfortunately. This reef is beat up, its still a great dive but I think I will stick to some of the other shore lines or maybe head further south. Didn’t catch anything worth keeping this time around… maybe next time.
This is a little off track but I was looking up the “Lahaina Pali Trail” (Na Ala Hele) and ran across this blog. There are some great pictures but the comments are what I was laughing at. It’s amazing how “knowledgeable” they all are :) I got a kick out of it.
Vacant Land in Kihei
March 18, 2008
Kihei is one of the fastest growing cities in the entire United States. It is amazing that there is any vacant land at all!
Even land tucked away behind commercial areas have stunning views, amazing locations and may be the reason for their multi million dollar price tags.
This is nothing more than a panoramic view of an empty lot situated just off of South Kihei Road in Kihei, Maui, Hawaii. I have no idea if it is for sale or anything like that, but I just liked the shot.

Maui Panoramas
March 17, 2008
So I was playing around with Photoshop and my camera and decided to create some panoramic images from all over Maui. Given that I’m a novice it is rare for me to take say 10 consecutive “focused” images back to back. So you may notice some blurry spots! Anyway, they were fun to create. I got to go to the windmills on the West Maui Mountains, to Twin Falls, Kihei and even to Maui Mall (man, I’m no good at night shots!)
Anyway, here is what I ended up with! (click to see the full version of any image!)
Maui Mall: Panorama
Joe Mattson - Big Beach: Ok, this one is strange. I told Photoshop to just merge all of these images and this is what it came up with. It doesn’t make sense, but I thought it looked cool!
Lahaina Pali: Panorama (shot just below the windmills!)
Twin Falls: Panorama (Yep, there are a few blurry sections!)
Twin Falls Vertical Panorama
Kihei Regency: Panorama (took about 12 pictures to make this shot. Photoshop did a great job with the sidewalk! :D)
